![]() Double-click Edge in the program list, select if you want to delete your browsing data too, then click “Uninstall”. Tick the checkbox if you want to, then click “Uninstall” to uninstall new Edge. A confirmation dialogue box will open, to check if you want to delete all of your Edge browsing data too. At this point, you’ll likely get a UAC (User Account control) administrator permission prompt, click “Yes” to continue. You next need to locate Microsoft Edge in the list of applications, then double-click it. This will open Control Panel to the “Uninstall or change a program” page. Search for “Microsoft Edge” in the start menu, right-click, then click “Uninstall”. Right-click on Edge and then click “Uninstall”. First, press the Windows key, then type “Microsoft Edge” but don’t press enter. Uninstalling new Edge is relatively easy to do. Tip: Legacy Edge is the original version of the Edge browser.
